With the digital age came an evolution of office equipment, including copiers. A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE COPIER

Before photocopiers were invented, usually to duplicate a document was to use carbon paper (tracing paper or tracing), but in 1903, the American GC Beidler found a way to make quick playback instantly developed a document of a photographic negative, a technique patented in 1906. BUT ….. HOW DO THEY WORK?

1 – xerographic (use plain paper)

Process:
the original document is scanned by a beam of intense light that projects the image onto a rotating drum photosensitive surface (this is electrostatically charged in correspondence with the image).
On the drum is distributed pigmented powder (toner) which adheres to electrified areas (where no picture), writing or playing the original drawing.
The well pigmented image is transferred from the drum to the copy paper provisions, which eventually warms to fix definitively the pigment on the copy.

Inkjet

The inkjet printer (ink jet) to the middle spray very small quantities of ink, usually a few picoliters. For color applications including photo printing, the ink jet methods are dominant, as the high quality printers are inexpensive to produce. Copier Repair will help you with your needs.

In addition, this type of printer is only available from one manufacturer, Xerox, as part of its line of office printers Xerox Phaser. Previously, solid ink printers were manufactured by Tektronix, but sold its printing to Xerox in 2000.
